Where to find us
We're at 503 River Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701, USA, open Sunday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 4:05 PM. You can eat what we make by walking in, ordering pickup, or having it delivered around Lakewood and beyond.
What "fresh" means here
It's an easy word to put on a sign, so here is what it actually means in our kitchen: vegetables are cut in the morning, not the night before. Salads are tossed when you order them, with dressing on the side so nothing goes soft on the way to you. Paninis are pressed to order. Soups are cooked in batches through the day rather than held all week.
The practical result is that a wrap from us tastes like a wrap someone made for you, not one that sat in a refrigerated case. It's also why we ask for a bit of notice on large catering orders, we'd rather prepare them properly than pull something out of stock.
What we serve
The menu runs from breakfast through late lunch: mini avocado toast and egg whites in the morning; garden, citrus, tuna and poke-style salad bowls; grilled paninis and wraps; pastas and hot dishes; appetizers like cheese bonbons, buffalo poppers and popcorn cauliflower; and daily soups. There are plenty of vegetarian and lighter options, see our fresh & healthy picks.
Catering and large orders
A large part of what we do is feeding groups: office lunches, school events, simchas and family gatherings across Ocean County. Our wrap platters and salad bowls are built for exactly that. Read more on the catering page, or call (732) 730-7536 and we'll plan it with you.
Ordering direct
Orders placed on paninicafenj.com go straight to our kitchen. No third-party app sits in between, which means no marked-up prices and no lost orders, and it supports the shop directly. Start your order here.
